They met every week and took pictures. They got to know each other. They thought. They told their stories. They took more pictures. They learned. They got closer. Jinan Halabi, the program director, accompanied them throughout the year, through all the challenges and crises. In the background \u2013 the brutal, ongoing war in Gaza. In June \u2013 the war with Iran. A difficult, almost impossible year for children           <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And yet, when it came time to choose a name for the final exhibition, the children chose to call it <strong>&#8220;Hope.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This Wednesday, July 30, at 6:00 PM, the participants\u2019 photographs will be displayed at the Jewish-Arab Peace Center at Givat Haviva, telling a story of hope.<\/p>\n<p>You are invited to see what life here looks like through the eyes of Jewish and Arab youth who have learned to photograph \u2013 and see \u2013 differently.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4519\" src=\"https:\/\/givathaviva.org.il\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/%D7%94%D7%96%D7%9E%D7%A0%D7%94-%D7%91%D7%A2%D7%99%D7%A0%D7%99%D7%99%D7%9D-%D7%90%D7%97%D7%A8%D7%95%D7%AA.jpg\" alt=\"Invitation\" width=\"940\" height=\"788\"><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>20 Jewish and Arab girls and boys, age 15, signed up for the &#8220;Through Others\u2019 Eyes&#8221; program again this year and explored their identity and world through photography.
